B2B social doesn’t have to be beige. How to make it human
By Holly

There is a particular kind of post that B2B brands fall into. A stock photo of a handshake, a headline about synergy, and a link nobody clicks. We get it. When your buyer is a procurement team it feels safer to sound serious. But the person reading your post is on their lunch break, on their phone, and they want something worth their thumb. Here is how to give it to them.
Lead with people, not logos
The accounts that work in B2B are the ones where you can picture the humans behind them. Put your team on camera. Show the office, the warehouse, the van. When Brightline Crew started posting about the people they place rather than the vacancies they fill, their replies went from zero to a conversation every day.
Make the useful stuff easy to find
B2B buyers research for weeks before they get in touch. Be the account that helps them:
Short explainers that answer one question properly.
Honest comparisons, including when you are not the right fit.
Behind-the-scenes posts on how you actually deliver the work.
Case studies told as stories, with a real number in the first line.
Pick your platforms and commit
LinkedIn is the obvious home, but it is not the only one. Instagram works for anything visual, and TikTok is quietly full of tradespeople, engineers and founders talking shop. Choose two, post consistently, and stop measuring yourself against consumer brands. A hundred of the right followers beats ten thousand of the wrong ones.
